This notice explains how Earthrise:Live handles information collected through this website, earthriselive.org. We keep what we collect to a minimum and use it only to respond to you and to operate the site.
Earthrise:Live ("we", "us") is the global partner, media and public-facing movement behind a worldwide day of connection for children on 20 November. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@earthriselive.org.
This notice covers earthriselive.org only. Schools and teachers take part through earthriselive.org, which operates under its own terms and safeguarding model. No children's personal data is collected through this site.
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site and respond to you (for example our hosting provider), and only as needed for those purposes. We may disclose information if required by law.
We keep enquiry details only for as long as needed to respond and to follow up on a genuine partnership conversation, and then delete them. Server logs are kept for a short period for security and then rotated.
Our site and enquiry data are hosted on servers in the European Union. Where a provider (such as Google Fonts) processes data outside the UK or EU, that transfer relies on the provider's own safeguards.
Subject to applicable law (including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@earthriselive.org. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority - in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
This website is intended for organisations and adults exploring partnership, media or support. It is not directed at children. Children's participation in the event is arranged by their schools through earthriselive.org, under teacher control and that platform's safeguarding model.
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
Earthrise:Live is supported by WhatSchool and delivered through earthriselive.org's school-facing participation model. Questions: hello@earthriselive.org.
